I've been reading up on amelanchier alnifolia (I think it's also called Saskatoon berry?) and I'm really interested in growing one in my garden. I'm pretty new to gardening, so I was wondering if anyone has experience with this plant. What kind of soil and watering conditions does it need? Also, are there any common pests or issues I should be aware of? Any tips for beginners would be awesome!
