Adding to what's been said, I’ve noticed sulfur sprays can work if you time them early, but they sometimes cause leaf burn on hot days-especially in young plants. For me, the biggest game-changer was pruning heavily for airflow and spacing plants apart. I still got some mildew, but way less and almost no effect on my gooseberry yield. Anyone else found mildew-resistant cultivars that actually taste good?
