Lupinus: The Diva of My Garden, or Just an Overhyped Bean?
Okay, so am I the only one who’s spent weeks fussing over lupines (yes, Lupinus, the supermodel of the perennial beds) only for them to throw the biggest tantrums over-what, a poorly timed drizzle? Shocking!
Despite the promises of gorgeous flower spikes and pollinator parties, mine seem to wilt at the faint suggestion of hardship. Do these plants secretly want a butler service? Do I need to lay down a velvet runner for them to strut across? What's everyone’s real experience?
